UPDATES ON MASS IN SMC

Take note that the church and mass is NOT yet open to the general public.
If you are :
- older than age 69 or age below 13 ;
- exhibiting any covid-19 like symptoms within the last 14 days ;
- not a Malaysian
you will not be allowed to attend mass yet under the present government standard operating procedures.
SMC mass is now presently open only to serving members of SMC's ministries and their helpers who are helping to implement the SOPs in church.
Pre-registration is compulsory so that we can comply with the 1/3 capacity ruling. This means that pre-registration is required for every mass that
we wish to attend i.e. you have to pre-register every week if you wish to attend mass every week. Those without pre-registration and in non-compliance with our church's and government's guidelines will have to be turned away.

MESSAGE FROM PARISH PRIEST AND POHD - PENANG DIOCESAN LENTEN CAMPAIGN 2020
The Catholic Bishops of Peninsular Malaysia has issued a circular suspending all masses and public gatherings in church from 14th March to 29th March 2020.

Newcomers may be interested to know that we are the only church in Ipoh with a first-class relic of the Italian saint known fondly as Padre Pio. The relic
consists of St Pio's blood on a part of the stained mittens which he wore during his life. Click here to read more about

RECYCLING PROJECT IN SMC
Parishioners may bring unwanted paper or boxes, plastics, old clothes
and electrical items for recycling at SMC by the 3rd week of this month. Kindly ensure the clothes to be recycled are packed in plastic to prevent them
from getting wet. Recyclable items must be sorted according to the categories and placed at the space provided opposite the Oak (next to the new columbarium). Please
do not throw glass and wooden items.
